Our Mission
My Life My Future is a community interest company that provides training and work experience opportunities to Young People who find accessing mainstream education challenging for a variety of reasons.

My Life My Future C.I.C will offer opportunities outside of the current mainstream provisions and by utilising it’s a holistic approach, it will provide opportunities and outcomes tailored to the needs of the individual.
By providing employment opportunities and support to these young people, we aim to support them to become self-sufficient and reduce their reliance on social welfare programs. This will help to reduce the number of young people who are deemed to be “Not in Education, Employment or Training.” (NEET).
The goal is to help these young people gain employment and become self-sufficient, with the ultimate aim of benefiting the community.
This will involve working with local providers to offer employment opportunities and supporting their employment journey by addressing any additional needs or issues that may arise.

The Company will be able to support Schools, Colleges and other referring bodies in the completion of their Gatsby benchmark Compass Audit paperwork and supporting good practice in providing careers information, advice and guidance.
The Company is aware that a proportion of the young people who will need support will have an “Education and Healthcare Plan.” (EHCP) This requires support and intervention additional to the available Special Educational Support detailed in the plan and describes how best to address those needs.
As with all young people referred to the Company the support will be tailored to their specific needs. The Company will work closely with The Local Authority 0-25 SEND Teams, Special Educational Needs Coordinators and other professionals to ensure the most positive outcome for all our young people.
